and create life goals.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is a comprehensive approach to improving family dynamics and resolving conflicts. I help families work through issues, improve communication, and develop strategies to nurture a supportive family environment.

Insomnia Treatment (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Insomnia)

If sleep troubles are affecting your well-being, I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). This evidence-based approach can help you overcome insomnia, improve sleep quality, and restore your overall health and vitality.

Family Crisis Intervention (strategic planning to get loved ones into treatment)

Sometimes, loved ones may be resistant to seeking help for their mental health or substance use disorders. I provide strategic intervention planning to guide families in getting their loved ones the support they need, ultimately leading
to a path of recovery.

Wellness Talks (community centers, businesses, churches, etc.)

I am passionate about educating and inspiring communities to prioritize mental health and well-being. I offer wellness talks at community centers, businesses, churches, and other venues to empower individuals and families with the tools for a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Treatment Populations

Working in various clinical settings has allowed me to treat clients presenting with a vast diversity of diagnoses and varying degree of acuities. These diagnoses include:

  • Mood disorders (Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder)
  • Anxiety/Trauma disorders (i.e., Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Attack, Post-Traumatic Disorder)
  • Psychotic disorders (Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder)
  • Substance use disorders (i.e., alcohol, opiates, methamphetamines, marijuana, benzodiazepines, etc.).

My masters degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology has helped guide clients with career related issues. I also work with family dynamics, most especially with family members on strategies to get loved ones to accept help and/or into treatment. Additionally, my specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Treatment for Insomnia (CBT-I) helps in curing insomnia.
